We are delighted to be welcoming volunteers, clubs, leagues and guests from across Devon tomorrow evening to The Forge in Exeter for our inaugural Devon Football Family Annual Awards Evening. 

The evening will see over 25 awards presented including our annual Devon County FA Long Service and Charles Norsworthy awards, the 2023 England Football Grassroots Awards, Referee Long Service awards and presenting players with their County Representative Caps. 

On the night we will be welcoming back David Fitzgerald as our host for the evening. Having previously presented our past awards evenings, David is excited to be back and being able to celebrate the evening. 

Alongside our host David, we are delighted to announce we will be joined by three very special guests to present our awards to our winners.  Our special guests for the evening will be Gary Caldwell, Exeter City FC First Team Manager and Steven Schumacher and Mark Hughes, Plymouth Argyle FC First Team Manager and Assistant Manager who will be taking time out of their very busy schedules to join us, we thank them and their clubs for being part of our awards.

We have one more final surprise for our guests which we will announced on our media channels at 6pm on Thursday!

Devon County FA Chief Executive Officer, Chris French said: “I am very excited to finally bring back our awards evening following the pandemic and a period of change for the County FA.  Our new Devon Football Family brand will be bringing together all our reward and recognition initiatives under one umbrella and this awards evening will be the first time we have brought the three different award programmes to one event.  The team are looking forward to welcoming over 100 guests to the evening and celebrating the shortlisted nominees and the winners. It will be a night of celebrating Devon Football and the entire Devon Football Family that enable and deliver grassroots football across the County."
