As the 2022/23 season comes to a close, we look forward to the 2023/24 season that will soon approach us and with this is mind we will be opening the Devon FA Player Membership Scheme for the season 2023/24 on Monday 12^th June 2023.

All players who wish to play in a Devon FA affiliated leagues and cups must have a Devon FA Player Membership valid for the 2023/24 season.

Players will be able to start purchasing next seasons Membership through the Devon FA shop and clubs can also use this to purchase bulk memberships for their players.

The scheme continues to enable the County FA to reduce affiliation fees and directly funds into the Devon FA Community Fund – formerly known as the Devon FA DIY Fund – and this helps clubs fund facility improvements and projects no matter how big or small! Information on how to apply to the Devon FA Community Fund in 2023 will be announced shortly.

Key dates for you to be aware of:

12^th June – Player membership opens to be purchased through the shop and any request for bulk buys.

9^th July – Memberships will be transferred from the shop and bulk buys to the players FAN numbers

There are three ways in which players can obtain their Player Membership for the 2023/24 season:

1. Players can go onto the Devon FA Shop, and purchase their membership here

2. Club secretaries can go onto the Devon FA Shop and bulk purchase their player memberships for them here

3. We can bulk register your players, as per your list of players on your Club Portal. Please note, we will register all players Registered on your list with a Player Membership, please ensure your data is cleansed before you ask us to register your players with a Player Membership.

If you choose this option, this will be completed from the 9^th July. Once we have done the registration of your players an invoice will be created and placed on your club’s whole game system and a copy along with a list of players the invoice relates to will be emailed to the club secretary and treasurer. Invoices will have due date, and this will be on the invoice please ensure these are paid on or before this date to avoid any late fees.

When you are requesting or purchasing a membership for someone 16 years or older, they will require their own email address attached to their FAN number to enable us to process their membership.

For anyone under 18 they will require a parent/carer to be attached to the child’s FAN number for us to process the membership.

Devon FA affiliated leagues should only register players that have purchased player membership and clubs can view which players have their membership through the FA Club Portal.  The screen shot below shows where you can see if a player has player membership.
