FA Youth Futsal Cup Qualifiers Round-Up
Over the last 2 months, Devon FA have hosted qualifying events for youth teams entering the FA Youth Futsal Cup. Sponsored by Pokémon, the Futsal Youth Cup by England Football is a national futsal competition open to clubs across England. The programme offers a competition for both boys and girls, at u10, u12, u14 & u16 age groups
In November, we received over 90 team entries from 37 youth clubs around the county, entering teams at various age groups.
In December & January, we hosted Local Qualifying events (Round 1 of the competition) across the county at:
- Paignton
- Exeter
- Plymouth
Paignton Academy’s Indoor Futsal Hub hosted the County Finals (Round 2) on:
- Girls Finals (Saturday 22nd January)
- Boys Finals (Sunday 23rd January)
Congratulations to the following teams that have qualified for the regional finals stage (Round 3), hosted by the FA in Wolverhampton in May 2022:
