Devon FA are excited to announce our first Pitch Maintenance Evening for all our dedicated grounds teams who work long hours across the County at all levels of the game week in week out for their players to enjoy the game.  The event will take place on Thursday 14^th October at Bovey Tracey FC ground at Marsh Mill Park, TQ13 9FF.

Our evening will be starting at 6pm with 45 minutes of networking and demonstrations with our partners and presenters on the evening, as well as a buffet available if you are coming straight from work.  During this session you will be able to meet our partners Masons Kings, Greenbest, Linemark UK, Velvit Fertiisers, Complete Weed Control, Grounds Maintenance Association and Wakeham Groundcare.  All of our partners will be available throughout the evening.

The main event will start at 7pm with arrange of talks and question and answer sessions from our presenters, Tim Wakeham will be providing guidance and advice on the winter care for you pitches, Ashley Hendrickx-Nutley from the Grounds Maintenance Association will be sharing information on the Association and the Pitch Power tool and Devon FA will be sharing information on funding and a new exciting project specific to Grounds Team for this season.

Our special guest for the evening will be John Wright, Head Grounds person at Southampton Football Club will then discuss his career to date and Match day prep, end of season renovations, the gulf between grass roots and premiership resources. This will be an excellent insight for our grounds teams.

We would welcome other club volunteers who are involved in the facilities at their club as this major element of any club will involve a team effort to maximise resources and funding.
