Devon FA Launches New Three Year Strategy

Here's our new three year strategy for grassroots football in Devon, running until 2024.

On 22nd November 2021, at Coach Road, Devon FA staff, board & council members, sponsors, partners, local authorities, club, league and FA representatives attended the Devon FA 2021-2024 Strategy launch.

The strategy outlines our plan and priorities for the next three years, up to 2024. We hope working together with members of the grassroots game and partners, that we can together deliver a strategy that everyone is proud of.

Through our strategy, our vision is to enhance lives through football in Devon.

Devon FA CEO, Paul Morrison had this to say: "After the past 18 months that we have endured, we're very conscious about the part we have to play in ensuring that people are able to utilise football as an outlet to relax and enjoy themselves. The game is fundamental for many people's lives and enjoyed by thousands in Devon, so collectively we are committed to creating a better football experience for all. We're in it together".

Devon FA County Development Manager, Chris French said: “Through working together with our Devon Football Family, existing partners and new partners, we will deliver our new strategy.  This strategy is a bold commitment from everyone at Devon FA to work with you to develop a brighter future for everyone using football as the catalyst”.

On the launch day, we hosted a Youth Schools football tournament on our new 3G pitch, in which 5 schools attended - Canada Hill, Chudleigh Primary School, Ipplepen Primary School, Kingsteignton Primary School, and St Catherine's Primary School.
