Free Football Leadership Days
Devon FA are excited to offer Young Football Volunteers in the county aged between 14 - 25 the opportunity to attend a Devon FA Football Futures Leadership Days for FREE!
This is an ideal opportunity for anyone aged 14-25 if you would like to:
- Get involved in football leadership
- Continue your involvement, but in a different capacity
- Deliver and lead on an FA project
- Work with a community club or scheme
- Undertake a placement with the County FA
If you attend a camp, you will be able to take part in a variety of workshops, and be mentored throughout the day by FA staff, supporting the delivery of practical sessions in groups with other participants. The experiences we hope you will take away from camp will enhance your CV, skill base and football knowledge.
As part of the Football Futures scheme, every hour of voluntary work you do in football is incentivised and rewarded through:
- Nike Kit
- Coaching Course Bursaries
- Certificates and references for completion of hours/stages
- Represent Devon at National Camps
- County FA Awards
- National FA Awards
The camps will be delivered by Devon FA staff & professional coaches from Football Club Community Trusts. Experienced Young Leaders on Football Futures will share their experiences as football leaders on the programme, covering a diverse selection of football disciplines that will provide a once in a lifetime opportunity to develop a whole host of leadership and life skills. The camps will consist of a day of learning across:
- Coaching
- Event Management
