New Representative Team Manager Needed

Devon County FA is seeking to recruit a part time Women’s Representative Team Manager.

The Women’s Representative Team selects players from teams within the Devon Womens League, and plays circa 6 competitive fixtures or events each season, from May to October. These may take place at Devon FA in Newton Abbot (home) or at other counties across the South West (away).

The successful candidate will be required to:

Oversee trials and select a squad
Arrange and deliver structured, enjoyable coaching sessions (due to the travel involved for players, these are usually maximum once per month)
Select and manage the team at fixtures across the South West

We are looking for coaches that meet this criteria:

Minimum FA Level 1 in Coaching Football (FA Level 2 is desirable)
(If Level 1) will commit to attend a Level 2 in Coaching Football within the next 12 months
Experience of coaching adult players
Experience of coaching female players
Organised, with a personal and professional approach
Awareness of The FA’s Coaching Fundamentals and Future Game Principles

Whilst this is not a paid role, Devon FA will pay travel expenses to all games and one training session per month, provide Devon FA Nike kit, and a subsidy towards any football coaching courses that will support the role.
