Saturday 12th January – Girls Group Stages Round-Up
During the girls heats it was MAP Juniors who ran away with victory by beating Central and finishing top the table winning 4-in-4. A massive well done to all teams that competed in the U10 group; Fremington and Plymouth Phoenix putting in a valiant effort.

It was then the turn of the U12 Girls group with Signal Box and MAP finishing joint top of the group on 12 points, playing 5 games in total. Crediton were just behind on 9 points, whilst Ilfracombe, Fremington and Newton Fire salvaged at least a victory each.
(Signal Box U12) - Group Winners
Lastly it was the U14 & U16 Girls groups as Plymouth Aspire went the whole group stage unbeaten winning four and drawing one, meaning they finished top of the table. Only three points separated them in first with Plymouth Phoenix and Crediton. Signal Box, Bideford and Braunton Wanderers made up the rest of the group but again showed immense character and quality throughout.
(Plymouth Aspire U14) - Group Winners
Finally, we witnessed Brixington Blues win the U16 Girls group by a single point. A crunch match between the Blues and Crediton ensured there was only one winner. Fremington, Bideford and Plymouth Aspire were superb all through the group stages however could only muster a single victory between all three teams.

Sunday 13th January – Mixed Group Round-Up
To the Sunday mixed group stages and what talent we had on show – a huge credit to futsal in Devon!
The U10’s group was highly competitive with a final between MAP Juniors and Roselands on the cards. Both teams were unbeaten in their groups, yet eventually Roselands ran out 3-1 winners against MAP Juniors. A big shout out too Bideford, Fusion, Stoke Hill, Barnstaple and West Exe for their brilliant attitude and skill throughout.
(Roselands U10) - Group Winners
Onto the U12 group and Marine Academy won their competition on penalties after drawing 2-2 in the final with Barnstaple. The U12 group was made up of some fantastic players and teams. A massive well done to Central City, Marldon, SB Frankfort, Dawlish United, Galmpton United and Eastside for their participation on the day.
(MAP Juniors U12) - Group Winners
A north Devon side were victorious in the U14 group with Alphington beating Plymstock United on penalties. Alphington went the whole day unbeaten whilst Plymstock’s only loss was to the eventually winners. The rest of the groups were superb all day and we want to thank; Barnstaple, Torquay Academy, Marine Academy, Bideford, Culm Sampford and Stoke Gabriel.
(Alphington U14) - Group Winners
Finally, the U16 group was goal-galore throughout the group with an average of 6 goals per game. With a group made up of Marjon St John, Marjon St Mark, Newton Abbot Spurs and Galmpton United it was already on the cards to be a brilliant group. Eventually Marjon St John won the group and now go onto the South West Regional Finals.
