COUNTY CUP FINAL PREVIEW 

Topsham Town Youth v Keyham Kolts Youth - Battle for the Devon U18 Boys County Cup!

On Tuesday 24th April, Devon FA will host the Wotton Printers Devon U18 Boys County Cup Final between two strong teams at Coach Road. 

This game has been hugely anticipated for a few weeks now as both clubs have been pushing for people to support their team at County HQ in Newton Abbot.

Grassroots football in Devon has always been something to be hugely proud of and we want you to support this superb game tomorrow evening at Coach Road, kick off 7:15pm.

Once again this year, we'll be broadcasting the game live on Facebook to you, our incredible and supportive audience, bringing live and exclusive match coverage plus pre-match interviews.

Kick off tomorrow is at 7:15pm with gates opening at 6pm for all family, friends and supporters to soak up the County Cup Final atmosphere.

Gate entry fees are: Adults: £4.50, Concessions/U16's: £2.50, plus Player ID Discount.

The game will also be broadcast live on our Facebook Page from 7pm - you can watch all match coverage, pre-match interviews and much more.

Marc Cullen (Topsham Town U18 Manager) - "It’s a great feeling to reach a County Cup Final, especially in what will be a lot of the players last season of youth football. I personally feel this is the trophy everyone wants to win and look forward to playing different opponents who we know very little about.”

Gary Robinson (Keyham Kolts Youth Manager) - "Over the moon for the lads, they deserve to be there.”

What style of play we expect to see:

Marc Cullen (Topsham Town U18 Manager) - "Hopefully you’ll see us play some football on a big pitch that should suit us. We are a side who like to get the ball down in the right areas whilst always having a good work ethic when not in possession, we also have a lot of pace in our squad which is always useful to have."

Gary Robinson (Keyham Kolts Youth Manager) - "Football played the right way, on the deck moving it quickly.”

What it's taken to reach a County Cup Final:

Marc Cullen (Topsham Town U18 Manager) - "After a couple of byes in the earlier rounds we then had two tough games down in Plymouth against Plympton and Plymstock, where we had to come from behind in the first game and really earn the wins. Then in the semi-final we were emphatic winners against an under strength Elburton side. This will be our 4th game against sides from Plymouth, which is what this Cup is all about; pitting your wits against teams you don’t normally play.”
