FA Education (based at St George's Park) offer more specialised courses to meet the demands of both professional and grassroots football.

Once you have a coaching qualification and FA CRC Check the free FA Licensed Coaches Club is a good place for more information and ideas. Charter Standard clubs can also apply for a free club mentor.

We’re dedicated to attracting new coaches into the game by running courses and workshops and signposting individuals towards formal qualifications. We provide resources and promote the opportunities available to volunteer at grassroots clubs or point you in the right direction if you’re looking upwards at the coaching pathway as a potential career.

We also strive to develop existing coaches with links to further education, guidance from the FA Licensed Coaches’ Club and in-service and CPD (Continuing Professional Development) training. We supply examples of coaching practices and drills, policies and procedures, and there are FA Coach Mentors available to guide you through your next steps.
