Level Two & Three BTEC Sport – Futsal Academy in partnership with Exeter College
BTEC Sport with Futsal Academy enables 16 and 19 year olds to pursue further education with Exeter City Football Club studying a BTEC Sport level 2 or 3 qualification in a non-traditional learning environment, as well as competing in a professional Futsal League.
Foundation Degree (FdA) Football Coaching & Development in partnership with Exeter College and Marjon
Keen would-be football coaches have the chance to kick off their coaching careers with advanced qualifications with a groundbreaking partnership between Exeter City Football Club, Exeter College and the University of Marjon.
The Foundation Degree in Football Coaching and Development, starting in September and now into its second year, provides a football-focused university level qualification highlighting issues affecting the development of coaching, performance analysis, the essentials of sport science and coaching theory and methods.
Football and Education programme in partnership with Teignmouth Community School
The full-time two or three year courses which make up the programme underpin high-quality playing performance with opportunities to access all levels of further education pathways, including BTEC qualifications, A-Levels or an NVQ Level 2. The squad works with Exeter City FC coaches, receiving up to six hours of weekly training and competing against other professional football clubs, such as Birmingham City and Plymouth Argyle.
