Devon County Football Association (Devon County FA) is proud to announce the launch of its latest initiative, the "Devon FA Boot Bank," aimed at supporting the local football community by providing used football boots to those in need.

Recognising the financial barriers that many individuals and families face in accessing appropriate football equipment, Devon County FA has established the Devon FA Boot Bank to ensure that every member of the Devon Football Family has the opportunity to participate in the beautiful game, regardless of their financial circumstances.

The Devon FA Boot Bank initiative invites individuals, clubs, and organisations across Devon to donate their gently used football boots. These donated boots will then be made available for distribution to players of all ages and abilities who require assistance in obtaining suitable footwear regardless of their personal circumstances.

Speaking about the launch of the Devon FA Boot Bank, Chris French, CEO of Devon County FA, expressed his enthusiasm for the initiative: "Football should be a sport that is accessible to everyone in our community. By launching the Devon FA Boot Bank, we hope to reduce one of the barriers preventing individuals from participating fully in the sport they love. We are incredibly grateful to everyone who donates their used football boots, as they are helping to enhance the lives of fellow members of the Devon Football Family."

The administration of the Devon FA Boot Bank will be overseen by the Devon County FA and aided by a network of local football clubs and community organisations. These eye-catching, bright yellow Boot Banks, provided by Devon FA and sponsored by A&S Interiors Limited, will be strategically located in numerous clubs, schools, and other easily accessible venues where they can be spotted by many passersby.
