Last week, Devon FA completed an Accessibility Site Review of the Coach Road complex in Newton Abbot.

The review was led by Neville Connor (Devon FA Inclusion Advisory Group member), Hayley-ann Dunstan (Co-Director of Ubuntu Educational & Mentoring Service CIC & Disability advocate), Devon FA Staff and Board Members.

The site visit included reviewing wheelchair access & signage around the site, evacuation plans and improving the experience for people with disabilities when visiting the complex. The findings from the visit are now being reviewed by Devon FA, with planned updates to disability access & signage at Coach Road.

Jen Dixon, Devon FA Director and Chair of the Inclusion Advisory Group, commented on the success of the accessibility visit: “Visits like this allow us to learn what we are doing well and where we can improve, as part of our commitment to football for all, on and off the field of play."
