At the start of the 2022/2023 season Devon FA sent out a survey to our youth, so they could let us know what they thought about grassroots football.

We had a great response, with over 200 U18’s filling out the survey!

Over the next season we will be working with Leagues and Clubs to address some of the points raised. 

The DJM have already started to look at girls football and how it will run the same as boys, regarding how many a side.  

The Pioneer have been trialling Young Referee Safeguarding cards, to support referees when issues arise at games and who to contact. 

This will be rolled out across all Youth Leagues for September 2023. 

Devon FA will be running Safeguarding Workshops for clubs and parents/carers, to address the poor practice of some on the side-line.
