Groundsman of the Year 2018 Nominations Open

Nominate your 'Groundsman of the Year 2018' for clubs playing in Step 7 and below as we close in on its annual rewards event.
Want to be recognised on a national scale? Then why not put forward the name who dedicates their time, effort and expertise to ensure your football pitch is kept in the best condition possible, as we close in on ‘Groundsman of the year 2018’.

The ‘Groundsman of the Year Award’ is a yearly event which gives back to the person who makes sure football can be played throughout the county on weekly bases, therefore, this is the time to nominate your stand-out candidate.  Last year’s winner was Steve Hooper of Kingsteignton Football Club in South Devon.

Following the success of last season’s Groundsman of the Year Awards, please find attached a copy of the Nomination Form for the 2017/18 competition.

We would again be grateful if you could nominate up to five candidates from across your League to go forward to our national judging stage.

The Groundsman at this level of football are nearly all volunteers who give up hours of their time to provide the best pitches possible using very few resources. This competition is a great way for these volunteers to get recognised on a local and national level whilst also having the opportunity to meet and talk with the professional Groundsman who conduct the judging.

Nominating is simple and easy, listed below is for Category 7 and below:
