Female football is one of the largest team sports in the Country. There are literally millions of females of all ages playing football on a regular basis in all different formats of the game. Whether this is in a local girl's league, in a regional women's league or just a kick around with some mates, there is always one thing in common; the love for the game.
It may be a different involvement in the game that interests you, perhaps coaching, refereeing or administration is more your thing; without people in these roles the game could not carry on. Whichever area you are interested in there is an opportunity for you.
Female League Football
We have three leagues running specific female football in the County. The Devon Women's League catering for ladies football and two youth leagues running division from under 10 to under 16.

Devon Girls League - Mian Salt - email@example.com
Devon Junior & Minor League (Plymouth) - firstname.lastname@example.org
With Devon being such a huge County, there is also the option of playing mixed football (up to under 16's) for girls living in areas where there is no local team for their age group.
Female Coaching and Refereeing
For those interested in coaching or refereeing there is also plenty of opportunity. We often have discounted rates available for female places on coaching courses, and our Referee Development Officer is always on the look out for more females interested in getting involved in refereeing.
Devon FA Girls' Advanced Coaching Centre
We run an FA licensed ACC for girls at under 12, 14 and 16 age groups. We have around 15-16 players in each squad, all of whom have been selected following trials in the summer. We have proud to have so much talent in the County with several players from Devon progressing on to regional, national and international basis.
