FA Skills Team

The FA Skills is a nationwide football coaching programme for 5-11 year olds run by The Football Association delivering coaching centres, holiday clubs, PE lessons, coach mentoring and teacher training.

Coaching Centres

The FA Skills coaching centres are run by FA Coaches and aim to not only give players age 5-11 the chance to learn and develop their skills, but to also gain confidence, build self-esteem, work as a team and improve their decision making. There are 3 Centres in Devon and sessions cost just £1 to attend:

Mondays

4pm-5pm (5-7yr olds)
5pm-6pm (8-11 boys)

Holiday Sessions

Primary Schools

The FA Skills coaches work with over 1700 Primary Schools and 4500 teachers a year, providing specialist, AfPE accredited lessons using fun football based activites to contribute to the curriculum. As well as helping to develop the technique, ball skills and confidence of children in Primary Schools, The FA Skills coaches pass on invaluable lesson ideas and guidance on to teachers.
