  • Safeguarding Children

All Managers/Coaches must have:

  • An in-date FA DBS

Please note, that Safeguarding for All is not an alternative to Safeguarding Children and will not be accepted.

Safeguarding Compliance during the Season

If a DBS or Safeguarding for Children expire during the season, clubs will be notified on the Whole Game System 3 months prior to renewal and then every month after, until two weeks prior when Devon FA will contact the CWO/Secretary.  If a DBS or Safeguarding Children does expire, CLUBS/TEAMS will be SUSPENDED until this matter has been resolved.

Others Helping within Clubs

An individual who has regular contact with Under 18’s within a club (regular meaning, more than a one off), will need an FA DBS, Safeguarding Children and be listed on the clubs Whole Game System.

For avoidance of doubt, volunteers will not be permitted to carry out regulated activity with Under 18’s until they have met the Safeguarding requirements.
