Plymouth Warriors Do Devon Proud
Plymouth Warriors experienced a fantastic weekend at St George's Park for the FA People's Cup Finals Weekend.
This year’s competition saw over 4000 teams compete at 240+ venues around the country as the first round kicked-off in February. And after those teams progressed through that stage to reach the semi-finals, again held on a regional basis, the cream of the crop made it to the national football centre for the grand finale.
Plymouth Warriors Ladies side won the Female Disability Cup, after beating Bradford 2-1 in the final, after a double from Nat Brown. The Ladies won all 3 of their group games, and then beat Dorchester in the semi-finals.
Ladies run to the Final below:

A big congratulations must also go to the other 3 Plymouth Warriors teams who took part in the FA People's Cup Finals Weekend. The Mens side managed to get to the final, but were unfortunately defeated 2-1 by Swale after a late wondergoal. The Premiership and League teams also put in a solid perfomance but unfortunately went out in the group stage after being very tough opposition in their respective groups.
