Two Devon Schools make FA Youth Futsal Schools Finals

Ivybridge Community College & Wynstream both progress to Schools Futsal Finals

A big congratulations to two Devon Schools, Wynstream and Ivybridge Community College for reaching the FA Youth Futsal Cup Schools Finals after progressing through the Semi-Finals last week.

The two schools have done fantastically well, and are in the final two in their age group in the entire country. Both schools will travel to St George's Park on Friday 3rd May to play a one-off game, for the chance to be national champions for their age group.

The first weekend in May will be the FA Futsal Finals weekend, and will see schools, clubs and adult competitions come to a climax over a four day period, with 25 games being played in the Futsal Dome at St George's Park, the home of the Engtland Futsal Team. Wynstream and Ivybridge Community College will be given the full matchday experience with their own changing room and official walk out before the game, as well as an awards presentation after the game.

The Semi-Finals were played on 23rd March in Birmingham at the PlayFootball Indoor Complex.

Wynstream U11 Girls topped their group after winning two of their group games, and drawing the other. Ivybridge Community College U13 Girls topped their group after winning all 3 of their games, scoring 12 and conceding just 2 in the process.

Everyone at Devon County Football Association would like to wish both Wynstream and Ivybridge Community College the best of luck for the National Final when they play on Friday 3rd May!
