COUNTY CUP FINAL PREVIEW 

Exwick Villa Veterans vs Elburton Villa Veterans

On Friday 4th May, Devon FA will host the Torbay Financial Services Devon Veterans County Cup Final between two very, very strong teams at Coach Road. 

This game has been hugely anticipated since the game was announced last week with both clubs have been pushing for people to support their team at County HQ in Newton Abbot.

Grassroots football in Devon has always been something to be hugely proud of and we want you to support this superb game tomorrow evening at Coach Road, kick off 7:30pm.

Once again this year, we'll be broadcasting the game live on Facebook to you, our incredible and supportive audience, bringing live and exclusive match coverage plus pre-match interviews.

Kick off tomorrow is at 7:30pm with gates opening at 6pm for all family, friends and supporters to soak up the County Cup Final atmosphere.

Gate entry fees are: Adults: £4.50, Concessions/U16's: £2.50, plus Player ID Discount.

The game will also be broadcast live on our Facebook Page from 7:15pm - you can watch all match coverage, pre-match interviews and much more.

A FEW STATS AND FACTS ABOUT EACH CLUB:

Exwick Villa Veterans

The club was originally Exeter Civil Service and was formed in 1947 however history before 1969 is rather vague.

In 2012 the Civil Service Sports Association closed their club and the Exeter College took over the land hench the change of club name; Exwick Villa FC.

The Veterans first competed in 2014/15 and won the cup beating fierce rivals, Alphington 4-0.

Elburton Villa Veterans

Elburton Villa Vets were formed in 1973 as Elmgate FC.

In 2001 they became solely a Veterans team and won the Cornwall County Veterans League in 2005. They then moved back to Devon to become Tamarside FC in 2012, however they reformed the name, Elburton Villa Veterans in 2013. 

Thye've played in tournaments acorss Europe in; Spain, Portugal, Holland and Jersey.
