The Devon FA Girls Advance Coaching Centre (ACC) is an FA Licensed Centre that sits directly within the England Female Talent Pathway, meaning it's the only place with a progression route into the FA regional, national and England camps/squads.

The ACC programme is designed so that it compliments grassroots football meaning players can remain with their club whilst attending the ACC additionally. Sessions are delivered by some of the most qualified and experienced coaches in the female game and we play in a fixture programme with the other County ACC's in the South West Region.

We have a good recent history of developing players with the likes of Jemma Rose (Arsenal and England) and Jessie Jones (Yeovil) both now playing at the top level of women's football. We are also lucky to have 2 players selected to represent England at fixtures or camps in the past season.

Centre Info

Venue - Training takes place at Ivybridge Community College

Training - Monday evenings from 6:30-8:30pm running from mid-August through to May.

Fixtures - We will play in 8 fixtures over the season against South West ACC's which are played mid-week during school holidays so that they do not interfere with grassroots team fixtures. There will also be training fixtures arranged at various points during the season against local boys/mixed teams.

Staff - All coaches are minimum FA Level 2 qualified, with the vast majority holding UEFA B (Level 3) or UEFA A (level 4) qualifications. We have a Goalkeeper specific coach and a Sports Therapist who works closely with players to help treat and aid recovery from injuries.

Commitment - We expect players to attend every training session and fixture, other than due to illness/injury. Fixture dates are confirmed early in the season so parents/players are able to organise half-term/holiday plans as we understand some will go away during these times.

Cost - The cost is £105 per player for the entire season. This includes all training and fixtures (as well as coach transport to some away fixtures), access to the Sports Therapist as well as a Nike kit package for training and fixtures
