The Devon County Football Association is committed to ensuring that it provides services fairly and without discrimination. It aims to ensure that all people have a genuine and equal opportunity to participate in football activities, at all levels and in all ways.

Football is an inclusive game and the Devon County FA is committed to demonstrating that we are an inclusive organisation and to ensure that our football in the county remains as such. Our mission statement of “Developing Football for All” underpins all of our work to epitomise this.

At the Devon County FA, we actively promote equality within our county plan, and this is demonstrated through a commitment to attain the Foundation Level of the Equality Standard - a framework for Sports and Community organisations to assess and practice. The Standard has two areas of activity and assessment:

• Developing the Organisation – This includes the policies, leadership and workforce
• Developing the Services – This includes the programmes, communications and customer service

Over the years the Devon County FA has lead copious work to support both women and girls football, the disability and mental health game within the County, as well as support many initiatives linked to ‘Kick it Out’.
Devon County FA is committed to an annual review of its activities and initiatives against the aims of its Equality Policy on an annual basis, and to produce an annual update on equality as part of the Associations AGM report.

Please see our Equality Policy under documents below, and additional web pages on Women’s & Girls, and Disability football. Devon County FA will continue to actively look to improve our policies and procedures, and ensure our staff, partners and customers work towards Equality.
