Curbishley and Coppell lead the way...
Grass Roots Football’s end of season celebration returns to the NEC, Birmingham over the weekend of 4th – 6th June.
Grass Roots Football LIVE is now in it’s 5th year and once again the organisers have announced a very strong line-up of football managerial talent ready to share their knowledge and views with thousands of grass roots managers and coaches.
Leading the way for the 4th year will be the show’s main ambassador, former England Manager, Graham Taylor. A huge supporter of the grass roots game, Graham always brings strong and controversial views to the show and remains incredibly popular with visitors of all ages. He is also ambassador for one of the show’s primary sponsors, Precision Training.
Former Oldham manager Iain Dowie, one of the country’s most innovative coaches, will be joined by two other show debutants, Alan Curbishley and Steve Coppell, both of whom know a thing or two about getting the very most out of players and teams.
And following their appearance last year, the event welcomes back three current Football League managers, Ian Holloway, Aidy Boothroyd and Peter Taylor. Visitors have the chance to see all of these highly experienced managers in the Errea Coaches Arena where they will be putting on coaching demonstrations and in the Inside Soccer Boot Room discussing on-field tactics.
But a day at the show is not just for the coaches and managers. There’s plenty for players of all ages with younger visitors especially well catered for. As well as a dedicated fitness and conditioning arena, visitors can receive specialist coaching in The Uhlsport Goalkeeping Arena.
And club officials can attend a series of highly informative and entertaining presentations in the Club Development Theatre with subjects including facilities, fund raising and coach recruitment.
