Corporate Games Night at Coach Road

3:08 PM, Thursday, 25 February 10.

Let The Games Begin

This Friday 26th February sees The Devon FA are holding their first corporate games night. The event is being held at The Corner Flag at Coach Road and therefore there is no Friday Night Football this week.

The corporate games night has already attracted football teams from Watts Blake and Bearne Seniors, Buckland Athletic, Ipplepen Athletic, Watts Blake Bearne Youth, The Devon FA staff themselves, companies such as WBW Solicitors and some sponsors teams.

Captain of The Devon FA staff, Chief Executive and Table Football enthusiast Paul Morrison is looking forward to the event. “We feel that by bringing some of our football clubs, County staff and sponsors together it will be a great way of using the Devon FA clubhouse but also build friendships and serve up good banter between the players”.

The teams consist of 8 players competing in events such as pool, darts, skittles, Wii Bowling, table Football, dominoes and cards, with a general knowledge quiz to finish the night.

The Devon FA hope this will be the first of many corporate games nights and with several clubs already expressing an interest of competing in the future it looks very promising.

If you want any information on future corporate games nights please contact Paul Morrison on 01626 325912 or email paul.morrison@devonfa.com

Jail Ale Friday night Football returns next week as Coach Road hosts the Devon Premier Cup Semi Final between The Royal Marines and Plymstock United which kicks off at 7:15pm.
