The youth trial will be held at Liverton United's ground at Halford. Liverton on Sunday 31st August 2008. The trials will commence at 2.00pm, but players will need to be at the ground by 1.00pm.
The Devon County representative Under 18 side will be playing in the South West Counties Youth Championship, The Mick Parry Cup and the FA County Youth Cup (which is a national competition)
To be eligible to represent the Devon Youth this season, players are those who have not reached the age of 18 at midnight on 31st August this season. Therefore, in terms of date of birth a player must have been born on or after September 1st 1990, to be eligible. He must also either have been born in Devon or currently playing for a club in the County.
Additionally, and in order to achieve the necessary quality, we are seeking players who would be able to play in at least one of the Premier divisions of the County Leagues (Devon & Exeter League, South Devon League, North Devon League, Plymouth and West Devon Combination League) or higher.
Recommendations must include the following:
Players name, address and date of birth
Contact telephone number for the player
Details of his two most effective positions (except goalkeepers)
Current club details

Can recommendations arrive no later than Friday 29th August 2008, and can players who wish to attend please bring shorts, socks, boots and drinks to the trials. Also once put forward, they must let us know if they cannot attend the trial.
