Get into Football - Plymouth

What is 'Get Into Football'?
Get Into Football is The Football Association's first campaign aimed at promoting our football development initiatives to all children and parents. As the guardians of the game, it is The FA's role is to ensure there are opportunities for everyone to play the game and also engage people at all levels in off-the-field roles. It's about doing things properly - about making sure everybody has a chance to be involved in football regardless of ability, race, religion or background.

Why Does Plymouth Have its Own Get Into Football Officer?
Plymouth was selected to benefit for various reasons, including the network of clubs situated in the area and strong partnership support from the Council and the local leagues, who are both key partners in supporting the project. Chris French is Plymouth's Get Into Football Officer and his main aim is to encourage more people aged 16 and over to play football then carry that on into adult competition.

Calling the People of Plymouth!
We are currently looking for information on the reasons why people aged 16 and over in Plymouth play or do not play football and what can we do to help more people play football and become active.

If you could take a couple of minutes to complete the Adult Participation Questionnaire (under related documents) and return to Chris French you will be helping to shape football provision in Plymouth.
