GetIntoFootball is The Football Association's first campaign aimed at promoting our football development initiatives to all children and parents.
As the guardians of the game, it is The FA's role is to ensure there are opportunities for everyone to play the game and also engage people at all levels in off-the-field roles. It's about doing things properly - about making sure everybody has a chance to be involved in football regardless of ability, race, religion or background.
It's about encouraging and increasing the involvement of groups at all levels of football by recognising that inequalities exist and taking steps to address them. It's about making opportunities available where currently they are limited.
It is the work of the nation's 270 football development officers locally that helps to deliver the objectives of 'Football for All'. Wherever you live, football in your region is governed by County Football Associations and each has its own development department whose job it is to ensure local opportunities.
There are many avenues into the world of football, playing, coaching, refereeing and many others. So if you have any questions about getting involved with local grassroots football please don't hesitate to contact us.
