In what was to be a tough first game of the county cup campaign, Activate came out the strongest to begin as Ashmoor tried to settle. But it was Ashmoor who scored first with a superb effort from Danielle Garland, which was not to be her last as she bagged another just before half time after excellent support play from Alison Hill who laid on a tap in for Danielle.
The second half saw a dominant performance from Ashmoor never allowing Activate to settle on the ball, especially from player of the day Jessie Boston, who worked tirelessly in midfield throughout the game. The final goal was another pass laid on by Hill for Garland to complete her hat-trick and a well earned victory for Ashmoor.
