Westinsure St Lukes Cup

The Devon County F.A are delighted to announce that Westinsure Insurance have committed to another year of sponsorship for the St Lukes challenge bowl.

At a recent meeting managing director Ron Budden was excited by the new format which now includes teams from the newly formed Carlsberg South West Peninsula league. Ron was quoted as saying "this is fantastic for Westinsure, DCFA and most importantly the clubs themselves, hopefully this will breathe new life into the competition."

Ron can be seen here along with his colleagues making the draw for the first few rounds. Future rounds will be announced on BBC Radio Devon.

The draw sees holders Torquay await the winners of the clash between Elburton Villa and Clyst Rovers.

Other Highlights of the draw include a possible meeting of local rivals Cullompton Rangers and Willand Rovers. This however depends on whether Willand can successfully see off last seasons Premier Cup winners Tavistock.

The first round draw also sees first time entrants Buckland Athletic, Ivybridge Town and Witheridge drawn against strong Toolstation Western League opponents in Bideford, Ilfracombe Town and Elmore respectively.
