Plainmoor Ladies FC are looking for a new manager, goal keeper and any new recruits of any ability. They have recently been promoted to Premier Divison of the Devon Women's League. They currently train at Windmill in Torquay. Pre-season training will start on Thursday 5th August 6.30pm onwards. Please can anybody who is interested contact their chairperson Sarah Coleman on 07779770370.

Pinhoe Spartans Girls, who are based in Exeter, are looking to recruit some more players for their U15's team. They train at King George Playing Fields on a Thursday evening between 6pm - 7pm. The Devon County Football Association in partnership Devon Girls Football League and its membership clubs, have now ran 4 successful central venue festivals for girls of primary school ages. The January Festival saw 5 teams compete, the February Festival saw 8 teams compete,the March Festival (Mothering Sunday) saw 5 teams compete, and the April Festival saw 9 teams compete. In total 10 teams throughout the county have supported these fixture days.

Congratulations to Ashmoor Ladies U13's team - they have been awarded the JUNIOR TEAM OF THE YEAR at he 2009 Teignbridge Council Sports Personality of the Year Awards. Ashmoor Ladies are based at Ashmoor Recreation, Ashburton and have a ever growing girls section. They are always on the look out for new players. There is a NEW turn up and play football session running for ladies in the Exeter Area. This is targeted at ladies who are looking to getting back into playing football, or looking to try playing for the first time. The sessions consist mainly of small sided games.
