In Devon we have a number of Facility based Football Development Officers.
These positions are made possible by The Football Foundation providing a tiered funding structure in order to part fund a Football Development Officer post at each facility following successful bids for new 3G ATPs.
The roles of these officers vary but essentially they are in place to maximise the usage of the facility and deliver a development plan that was written for the facility.
The officers will support local clubs and schools and the whole community as well as support the Devon FA deliver its targets as set out in the FA's National Game Strategy.
