Exeter City Ladies Ability Counts FC
 

Exeter City FITC and Devon FA are starting a training session and team for women footballers with a disability. The first training session is on Saturday 25th September at the Riverside Leisure Centre in Exeter. This is open to players age 16 and above of any standard.  If you are a new player you are particularly welcome to come and play. Players can turn up with a friend or carer too if they want to. Torquay Utd Inspirations

Torquay Utd Inspirations football club are looking for new male and female players with disabilities.  Training takes place on Saturdays 10.00-11.00am at Torquay Boys Grammar School, Shiphay Lane, Torquay, TQ12 7DY.  The club is run by FA Qualified Coaches from Robert Owen Communities, South Devon College, and Torquay Utd FITC.

 

British Sign Language for Football Course

Devon County FA are running a one day British Sign Language for Football course on Sunday 26th September at Devon County FA Headquarters in Newton Abbot. Please see the 'Coaching Courses' page for more information and an application form.

 

Deaf Friendly Football Festival

Devon County FA and Exeter City FITC are running a Deaf Friendly Football Festival on Sunday 19th September at Devon County FA in Newton Abbot.  Deaf players of all ages are welcome to attend and for more info see under 'Related Documents'.

 

Disability Centre of Excellence Trials

Devon County FA run a centre of excellence for talented young players with a disability, age 11-18.  Trials are coming up in September and nominations for new players are most welcome.  Please see the 'Centre of Excellence' page for full details.
