Devon FA's Disability Centre of Excellence provides the opportunity for talented young players aged 11-17 to access quality coaching with full support from the FA and a direct link to the Disability England squads.
The Centre plays a vital role in the Devon County FA's commitment to disability football and offers talented players the opportunity to train, develop and compete against Centres of Excellence from other counties.
As well as a detailed 20 week technical programme, players at the Centre also benefit from specialist goalkeeping coaching as well as receiving physio support. The Centre aims to find and support players for the England national impairment specific squads including the Cerebral Palsy Squad, Deaf Squad, Visually Impaired Squad, Learning Disabilities Squad, and the Amputee Squad.
The centre is always interested in potential new players, and nominations for the coming season are very much welcome. A player nomination form is available for download under 'Related Documents'.
